My Background & Qualifications
Zoe Eggar, Chartered Accountant
I qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young in London back in 2001. After several years in practice, I moved into professional training, spending over 15 years teaching tax and accountancy with Kaplan UK. That role gave me a strong technical grounding, but more importantly it taught me how to make complex rules understandable and practical for people who don’t necessarily speak “accountant.”
More recently I’ve been working with small and medium-sized businesses in a local practice, helping owners keep on top of their accounts and tax, and giving advice that’s relevant to their day-to-day decisions. Based in Stamford, near Peterborough, I support clients across the local area as well as further afield.
At Eggar Accountancy, my focus is on providing a personal service: the reassurance of big-firm experience combined with the flexibility and approachability of working directly with one adviser. Whether it’s preparing accounts, filing tax returns, or supporting you with VAT and bookkeeping, my aim is to give you confidence and peace of mind.
